Dispersed Camping

The least expensive camping places are the USACE – United States Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds. These can be anywhere from $20/night and up depending on what you want. They usually include showers, pit toilet (or better), and places to swim.

But for free are the Dispersed Camping areas. They are all through the national forrest lands.
